Why Was My Vehicle Towed?

Most of the vehicles that we tow from private property are due to the lack of a properly displayed permit.  That includes no permit at all to permits not located in the proper place.  As a service to their tenants, managers need to enforce parking restrictions so that their tenants have a place to park.  No one likes to come home to find no parking available and numerous un-permitted vehicles occupying the limited parking spaces.

As the years go by, there seems to be more cars and less parking places in Davis.  If you do not have a permit to park in a particular lot, you should find a place on a public street or public parking lot to park (this may be difficult).

Tenants should inform their guests of parking restrictions.

Display your permits it the proper location.

If it was towed by a police department, most of the time it is due to the driver being under the influence, an unlicensed driver, expired registration or an abandoned vehicle.
